Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using PetPals.
Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using PetPals, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, including the mandatory arbitration provision and class action waiver in Section 10, please do not use our services.
Definitions
“Service” refers to the PetPals application, website, and related services provided by California Loves Frenchies.
“User” refers to you, the individual accessing or using the Service.
“Content” means text, images, photos, audio, video, location data, and all other forms of data or communication.
“Pet Profile” means the specific data collection associated with your registered animal(s).
Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. By creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete account information.
- Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
- Immediately notify us if you discover or otherwise suspect any security breaches related to the Service.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
block Illegal Activities
Violate any applicable national or international law or regulation.
block Harassment
Stalk, harass, bully, or harm another individual or pet owner.
block Impersonation
Impersonate any person or entity or falsify your affiliation.
block Data Scraping
Use any robot, spider, or other automated means to access the Service.
User Content
You retain ownership of any content you post to the Service. However, by posting content, you grant PetPals a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the content in connection with the Service.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to your content.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of California Loves Frenchies and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.
AI Advisor DisclaimerCritical
NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR VETERINARY CARE
The PetPals AI Advisor features are for informational and entertainment purposes only. The AI is not a licensed veterinarian and does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment plans, or prescriptions.
- Do not rely on the AI for medical emergencies. If your pet is sick, injured, or in distress, contact a licensed veterinarian immediately.
- The information provided by the AI may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
- Use of the AI feature does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship.
By using the AI Advisor, you acknowledge and agree that PetPals is not responsible for any actions you take based on the AI's suggestions.
Subscriptions & Payments
Certain aspects of the Service may be provided for a fee or other charge. If you elect to use paid aspects of the Service, you agree to the pricing and payment terms as we may update them from time to time.
Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may cancel your subscription at any time in your Account Settings.
Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the State of California, United States. California Loves Frenchies and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of California shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.
